From your rooms, the miles, the floors carried without a lift and the packing: the crew's hours at $42 a mover, the truck's day rate, the miles after the first 10 and the packing by the room. The day you choose sets a factor on the crew and the truck.
Yes: 3 hours. Short moves are billed for 3 hours of the crew and the truck.
Every floor carried without a lift adds a tenth to that end's time, and from 3 floors a further mover joins the crew.
The drive is in the hours; miles beyond the first 10 are $1.40 each.
Dates & Deposits
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are saver days. Fridays and Saturdays, the last three days of a month and the summer months cost more.
No crew moves on Sundays or on public holidays. The booking line is open Monday to Saturday.
From 2 days ahead up to 180 days ahead; the calendar shows the crews left on each day.
20% of the estimate holds your date; the rest is paid on the day.
Packing
Every room packed the day before, boxes, paper, wrap and tape included, every box tagged by room: $120 a room.
Yes: glass, china, art and lamps, wrapped twice, $45 a room.
About 18 boxes a room plus 12 for the kitchen and bathrooms. The shop's kits are sized by the rooms.
Storage Units
25 sq ft (5 x 5 ft), from $19 a week: twenty boxes, a bicycle and seasonal things.
Yes: 10% off from 12 weeks and 15% off from 26 weeks.
Units kept between 55 and 80 degrees for wood, art and papers: 15% on top of the week's rent.
Office Moves
By the desk ($85), the meeting room ($160) and the server rack ($450), with the trucks and the miles; evenings and weekends cost more.
No: most offices move on a Friday night or over a weekend, desks ready on Monday morning.
We drop crates 5 days before, two a desk; your team packs their own drawers, we do the rest.
