The First Minyan
Ten families meet in a rented room above a bakery on the Lower East Side.

A Sanctuary Of Our Own
The congregation dedicates the sanctuary and its ark on the first night of Hanukkah.

The Hebrew School Opens
Forty children on the first Sunday; today more than three hundred.

Restoring The Ark
The carved ark and the stained glass windows are restored by hand.
