Fresh snow fell overnight, and the pistes are groomed before the first lift.

The village sits at the foot of the slopes, so every chalet is a short slide from the lifts. Our instructors grew up on this mountain and know where the snow stays soft. Breakfast arrives before first lift, and the boot room is warm when you get back.

Setting Out Before The Lifts

Book your pass, your chalet and your lessons in one place, with prices you can see. The glacier keeps the upper runs white from late November to the middle of April.

Families start on the nursery meadow and move up the mountain at their own pace.

Mike Dumont, Off-Piste Guide

Every run is marked by grade, so you always know what is waiting below the lift.

  • Après-ski starts on the terrace at half past three, when the sun drops behind the ridge.
  • The snow report is updated every morning at half past seven, before the lifts open.
  • Chalets are cleaned between stays and stocked with local bread, cheese and wine.

What To Pack

Guides lead small groups to the quiet runs behind the glacier on clear days. Lift passes cover every gondola, chair and cable car from the village to the summit. Kit is fitted in your chalet the evening before, so the first morning is simple.
