Questions & Answers
Everything guests ask before a night at Nocturna.
Tables & Booking
No, the bar counter is walk-in only and the lounge keeps a few tables back every night. On Fridays and Saturdays after nine, a booking is the only way to be sure of a seat.
Fifteen minutes from the booked time. If you are running late, call the bar and we will do our best to keep it.
The bar counter is booked for an hour and a half, the lounge and the terrace for two hours, a private booth for two and a half; after that the table is yours if nobody is waiting.
Yes, a private booth carries a $300 minimum spend across the table, with a 20% deposit at booking that comes off the bill on the night.
The Drinks
Yes: two zero-proof cocktails on the menu, our bartenders will make most classics without the spirit, and the Zero-Proof Mixing class teaches four more.
Every strength on the menu is worked out from the drink's recipe and the water the ice adds; most of our sours sit between 12% and 16%, the stirred drinks between 25% and 30%.
Most are. The sours with a foam use egg white: ask and we will shake them with aquafaba instead.
Monday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The classics on the list pour at their happy-hour price, and the prices on the website change by themselves while it runs.
Your Visit
Smart casual. No sportswear after nine on Fridays and Saturdays; jackets are welcome, never required.
21 or over, every night, with photo ID. We ask everyone who looks under thirty.
Of course, for a birthday or an anniversary: let us know when you book and we will keep it cold and bring it out with candles.
The bar, the lounge and the restrooms are step-free from the Mercer Street door; the terrace has a ramp.
