Submitting Work
Pick an open call and press Submit Your Work: five steps take the call, your series, a few words about you and the entry fee. Nothing is sent until you press Submit.
Each call sets its own limit, from 6 to 20 frames a series. Send the sequence you would print, not your best single frames.
Most calls cost €12 a series. A subscriber's first series is free, students pay 50% less, and from the 4th series on each one costs €8.
Every series is seen by three editors. The judges are named on each call's page, with the date the results come out.
Rights & Permissions
Always. You give Silvera the right to print the series once in the issue and to show it online and on the wall; nothing more.
For street portraits made close up, yes. Candid street work in public places is fine; tell us how the photograph was made.

Issues & Subscriptions
Twice a year, in spring and autumn, with a launch night in the project space the first Thursday after each issue.
In the shop here, at the project space and in independent bookshops in eleven cities.
No. Every issue is printed once; the numbers left are on the issue's card.
Two issues a year, posted the week they launch. Pick a plan and where you live, and the price is worked out with the postage.
The Shop
Orders over €60 ship free within the European Union; within Germany shipping is €4.00 and to the rest of the world €14.00.
Every print is signed and numbered on the back by the photographer, from editions of twenty-five or thirty.

The Project Space
Wednesday to Sunday from midday, until ten on Thursdays. Mondays and Tuesdays the editors are in, the doors are not.
Launch nights are free; put your name on the list so we know how many to expect.
On the second Saturday of the month: twenty minutes with an editor and one series on the table, €25.
