About The Boutique
It started as a shelf of swimsuits by the pool at Baie Sereine. Guests kept asking for them.
A Boutique That Happens To Be In A Hotel
We are not a gift counter and we never grew like one. We are six small shops in six Hibo houses, and the first is still run by the people who stocked its first shelf.
That means some things are better here than they have any right to be. There is a tailor on call, a bag that follows you between houses, and somebody who knows your size by the second morning.

How It Got Here
Six dates that explain most of what the boutique is now.
A Shelf By The Pool
Twelve swimsuits on a shelf beside the pool at Baie Sereine, for guests who packed for the city.
The Room Off The Lobby
The shelf became a boutique, with a tailor two mornings a week and a rail of linen.
Across The Water
Anse Takamaka and Raa Atoll opened boutiques of their own, and the first room delivery went out by boat.
Block Prints In Udaipur
The palace boutique began making cottons with printers in the old city, still our best-selling shirts.
Open Late In Singapore
Tanjong Pagar stays open past midnight for the flights that leave after dinner.
Portovenere, Next
The sixth boutique opens with the new house above the harbour next spring.
Three Things We Will Not Trade
Chosen At The Pool
Nothing goes on a rail until the people who run the pools have worn it through a week of salt and sun.
The Price Is The Price
Tax and room delivery are in every figure we quote, and the tailor is free on anything bought here.
Mended For Life
Send anything back for a seam, a button or a patch for as long as you own it, from anywhere.
