Every Mode On This Lane
The same cargo priced on each mode the lane runs, standard service, no extras.
Chargeable Weight, Not Just Weight
A carrier sells space as well as lift. A light, bulky box takes the space of a heavy one, so every mode counts a volume weight and charges whichever is greater.
- Road Freight1 m³ = 333 kg
- Ocean Freight1 m³ = 1,000 kg
- Air Freight1 m³ = 167 kg
- Rail Freight1 m³ = 333 kg
From the chargeable weight: the greater of the real weight and the volume weight. Volume weight is the size in cm³ divided by 6000 for air, 3000 for road and rail; by sea one cubic metre counts as 1,000 kg. The lane's rate, a minimum charge, the fuel surcharge and any extras make the total.
Seven days, or until the departure it was priced for leaves, whichever comes first.
Priority loading on the first departure with space: about a quarter fewer days for about 32% more.
Yes, by lane and mode; the cheapest is $150. Under it, the minimum is charged.
