A House That Happens To Have Bedrooms
We are not a chain and we never grew like one. We are six buildings on six pieces of coast, and this one - the first - is still run by the people who built it.
That means some things are better here than they have any right to be, and a few are worse. There is no spa suite with a private entrance. There is no app. What there is, is somebody who knows your name by the second morning and a kitchen that will cook what you actually want.

How It Got Here
Six dates that explain most of what the place is now.
The Headland, With Nothing On It
Michel and Ana Roux bought eleven hectares of rock with no road, no water and a ruined customs post.
Nine Rooms And One Cook
The first terrace opened in June with nine rooms. The cook was Ana. The road arrived in August.
The Spa, Cut Into The Rock
Three years of drilling produced eleven treatment rooms and a seawater pool at thirty-four degrees.
The Cove Lift
Ninety metres of shingle finally reachable without a twenty-minute walk, which changed the place entirely.
A Star For Le Sel
Aurélie Sabran’s second year, and the first time anybody outside the region wrote about us.
Eighty-Six Rooms, Still Family
Their daughter runs the restaurants. A third of the staff have been here more than a decade.
Three Things We Will Not Trade
Nobody Reads A Script
The desk is allowed to say no, allowed to say “I do not know”, and allowed to spend money solving your problem without asking anybody.
The Price Is The Price
Resort fee and tax are in every figure we quote. There is no bill at the end with things on it you did not agree to.
We Close To Fix It
Six weeks every January, at a real cost, because a building on a cliff either gets maintained properly or it does not.
