About Us

A small herbal tea boutique where every blend is weighed, mixed and tinned by hand.

Our Story

We Wanted The Best Leaf We Could Find

Infusia began in 2011 on one table at a Portland market: four blends, a kettle and a lot of tasting spoons. People came back for the chamomile, then asked what else it would go with.

Today the blending room mixes 12 house blends from 15 botanicals every Tuesday, and anyone can build a blend of their own.

What We Hold To

Three Things We Never Skip

Small Batches

Three kilograms at a time, weighed by hand. A batch is tinned the week it is mixed, so nothing sits on a shelf.

Growers We Know

Every botanical comes from a farm we have visited or a grower we have bought from for years. The origin is on every page.

Steeped Right

Every tin carries its steep: the water, the leaf and the minutes. A good blend steeped badly is a bad cup.

What Comes Next

A Second Tasting Bar

Next spring we open a second tasting bar across the river, with a blending counter where you can build a tin and watch it mixed.
