Four Ways To Pour

Green Tea

  • Water80°C
  • Steep2.5 min
  • Leaf2.5 g a cup
  • Infusions3

Let the kettle rest two minutes off the boil. Hotter water turns the leaf bitter.

Black Tea

  • Water95°C
  • Steep4 min
  • Leaf2.5 g a cup
  • Infusions2

A full boil and a lid on the pot. Milk is welcome after four minutes.

Rooibos

  • Water100°C
  • Steep6 min
  • Leaf3 g a cup
  • Infusions2

Rooibos never turns bitter: leave it six minutes or ten.

Herbal Base

  • Water100°C
  • Steep5 min
  • Leaf3 g a cup
  • Infusions2

Flowers and leaves open fast; roots in the blend want the extra minute.
